Flight or Fight, a regional report published by MPPC, covered issues such as urban blight, suburban sprawl, employment, education, taxation, and more. The challenge was to take a lot of weighty information and put it into a format that would make it accessible to the audience — movers and shakers in the region who had the potential to act on these important issues. And we succeeded; the response to the book was tremendous.In addition to design awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts and Communication Arts Design Annual, the book received accolades from local newspapers, the Public Relations Society of America, the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Governmental Research Association, and the Greater Philadelphia Regional Review.
